Jeffrey G. Martin

Jeffrey Martin is executive vice president and director of programs at the Stanley Foundation, a position he has held since November 1999. Prior to that he was head of the foundation's Communications Department.
Jeff began work at the foundation in March 1980 and created Common Ground, a weekly radio program on world affairs that was heard on radio stations across the country. During his tenure he has also developed into a specialist on UN affairs, acting as the principal organizer of more than 25 international conferences on the United Nations.
Before joining the Stanley Foundation, Jeff worked for ten years as a journalist in Illinois and Iowa. He majored in political science and English at the University of Wisconsin in Whitewater.
