Asian Security
Current Work
Multilateral Engagement with North Korea
Promoting economic cooperation and knowledge sharing within Northeast Asia is necessary in order to create solutions for the challenges facing the DPRK. Stanley Foundation programs work to increase understanding of the DPRK within a regional framework. Contact Michael Schiffer for more information.
Shifting Powers
Power dynamics in Asia appear to be changing rapidly and warrant greater in-depth examination. Stanley Foundation programs will increase US understanding of the region and focus on current issues. Contact Michael Schiffer for more information.
Policy Outreach
Events in Asia-whether it is an earthquake or an economic crisis-have repercussions around the globe. In order to foster a greater awareness of these issues, the Stanley Foundation provides a forum for both the policy community and larger public to identify and learn about critical Asian topics. Contact Michael Schiffer for more information.
In order to create region-wide solutions for the economic, political, and security dilemmas that plague Asia, key players must cooperate to share knowledge and viewpoints.
